Its extra thick adhesive offers advantages for textured or curved surfaces over the D991 tape that we also carry. This tape is self-wound on a yellow glassine paper liner for easy application. Works well in automated core start-up applications and with mounting. It is also available on 1” cores for use in ATG dispensers. Use this tape to permanently bond papers, plastics, and films. This product can be used in gasket assembly.

This tape is acid free and flexible for a broad range of uses.

Polyimide Silicone Tape Features Description

This amber colored polyimide silicone tape has exceptional high temperature resistance. It has high tensile strength, is puncture and tear resistant, and offers  good electrical properties as well. It has a thin, conformable, silicone pressure sensitive adhesive that seals tight on contact and peels off clean at temperatures up to 500°F/260°C. It is both a chemical and flame-resistant product. This tape will not soften at higher temperatures and can even be used to protect circuit boards when soldering. Our polyimide silicone tape is also available on Anti-Static film as Part #S768OAS.
